The bride`s Greek roots and also the groom`s Scottish heritage combined in an over-the-top celebration. When Sabrina Bells, a cafe or restaurant manager, met Bancroft Henderson, an analyst, at a rooftop pool party at her condo in Arlington, she never thought love could hit so near home. But after three and a half years of dating, Bancroft proposed-right inside the identical view-friendly spot where they first laid eyes on every other. “We were likely to visit a birthday dinner having a gang of friends,” says your beloved partner. “As we were leaving my apartment, Bancroft claimed that there would be a green light illuminating the Washington Monument anf the husband took it to the rooftop pool to test it.” Confused, Sabrina followed Bancroft upstairs to obtain the terrace encircled by candles, with a bottle of Champagne and roses waiting only for her to say yes. A ceremony that elegantly wove Sabrina’s Greek Orthodox roots with Bancroft’s Scottish heritage followed nine months later, on September 15, 2012.
