Proper posture should really help keep our backs healthy. Why, then, do a little experience lumbar pain when sitting or standing properly? If you are wanting to relieve lumbar pain by improving posture and experiencing much more of it, don't stop trying yet. Muscles learn behavior. Technically, "muscle memory" means brain's tendency to record repeated behaviors and earn them automatic later on. In case your posture trains your muscles to be tense or lax, eventually mental performance will send signals to the people muscles that cause these to tense up or disengage automatically.
