About the Service
The B'nei Mitzvah service is so spiritually fulfilling. It symbolizes your teenager's transformation from child to adult in the eyes of our faith. When B'nei Mitzvah recite the blessings within the Torah, they are affirming that they are who are old enough to be to blame for all of that has passed in their mind - our traditions, rituals, teachings, and culture - and they also will uphold and, in turn, pass every one of them to the next generation. This moment is widely known at Washington-Hebrew-Congregation-Mitzvah-photography each time a teenager reads through the Torah the very first time publicly during Shabbat services on a Saturday morning or evening. The B'nei Mitzvah also lead a few of the prayers, read in the Haftarah (the books with the Prophets), and share their thoughts concerning the Torah portion and its link to our way of life by way of a d'var Torah (words of Torah). This can be really a Shehechiyanu moment! Mazel tov!

Telling Your Story with Photojournalism There are not many days which can be essential inside the life of a little daughter Jewish son or daughter as his or her Bar/Bat Mitzvah. While there are countless ceremonies, my team i are aware that every event is unique and that we give attention to telling the storyplot of the people. I can't come into the image looking to set things up or manipulate the problem; my photographs have to do with the candid moments, filled with spontaneity and emotion. Working creatively with the natural elements, the lighting, angles, and situations, I could bring a lot more life towards the photographs than generic poses ever could.
