In regards to the Service

The B'nei Mitzvah solutions so spiritually fulfilling. It symbolizes your teenager's transformation from child to adult in the eyes of our own faith. When B'nei Mitzvah recite the blessings in the Torah, they are affirming they are old enough to become in charge of all of that is being passed for many years - our traditions, rituals, teachings, and culture - and they will uphold and, consequently, pass them all to the next generation. This moment is widely known at Washington-Hebrew-Congregation-Mitzvah-photography each time a teenager reads from your Torah initially publicly during Shabbat services over a Saturday morning or evening. The B'nei Mitzvah also lead some of the prayers, read from your Haftarah (the books from the Prophets), and share their thoughts about the Torah portion and its particular link to us by way of a d'var Torah (words of Torah). This can be a classic Shehechiyanu moment! Mazel tov!
