When visiting the Mediterranean island of Cyprus, tourists should to use the main attractions that draw countless people every year. Khirokitia can be an archeological site that dates back to the Neolithic age. It's considered one of the best-preserved and quite a few important prehistoric sites from the Eastern Mediterranean. The Nymphaeum is an elegant structure committed to the water nymphs and just outside of the city can be a woodland god's place of worship along with the sanctuary of Hylates. Lefkara Village, perfectly located at the Larnaca district, is acknowledged for its silver handicrafts and lace, that includes a long history there. Unique, picturesque architecture including stone houses and cobbled streets distinguishes this village from others in the area. From the village, tourists can explore handicraft and wax museums, chapels and churches dating towards the 11th century, the Machairas Monastery, as well as the Saint Minas Convent.
