A small amount of history: The first CES show occured in New York in 1967. From the numerous years of 1978 to 1994 CES had been held twice yearly, once in the summer in Chicago once in the winter months held in Las Vegas. However, SCES started to loose popularity plus summer time of 1995 organisers decided to place the display on the road, consecutive failures triggered the cancellation from the summer show along with a yearly format was applied.
