My daughter i recently started our dream business of collecting and renewing furniture with the awesome medium of paint. Even as were going through the idea of painting furniture, we discovered chalk and have never looked back! What a pleasure to get found and ventured into the world of painted furniture. So far as problems in later life, Annie Sloan developed this specialty paint in their home country of England and launched it there in 1990. Recently it's got taken America by storm and also the whole community of creative furniture painters come in awe!

After recently renewing an old dresser to be with her bedroom, in our backyard, the thought to do this being a business, dawned on us. Many people probably won't like the idea of painted antique furniture, but the pieces that individuals want to renew include the one that people will no longer find attractive. Those who give to us a challenge of the way we can help it become beautiful and appealing yet again. People who might end up in the dump, prematurely. So in simple terms, we're recycling, renewing, re-purposing and improving the planet slightly within the same time!
