Almost every new TV nowadays is equipped with 3D technology. There is two kinds of systems on the market passive and active 3D systems. The passive 3D system is the one where the 3D glasses do not require batteries. This is at the same time the system that is widely used by movie theaters. This is called the REALD 3D system. The most popular producers for passive 3D systems are LG, Toshiba, Panasonic, Vizio and Philips. The problem with these producers, is that they only provide one or two pairs of passive 3D glasses with the 3D TV and sometimes they provide none. This is especially inconvenient if you are a family with two kids, and your children simply cannot wait to watch that 3D movie that came out yesterday.
