We will need to be able to concur with what words mean. It seems like such an obvious matter not worth mention, because language is really quite simple things. They mean the things they mean, and everybody knows those definitions. Why if it is important to explain we have to agree on them if we already do?Mostly because a lot of people seem to still find it smart to subvert the established meanings of words because of their own political purposes.

These folks recklessly exaggerate and outright lie to experience their ends, and also the loser is the English language. This misuse of words creates precisely what are called “buzzwords”. They're used frequently all around the political spectrum, nevertheless the left appears to have a specific penchant for employing them, and 2 with their favorites to utilize against those involved with conservative right are “racist” and “xenophobe”.Before we get into what has been done about bat roosting words often, let's ask ourselves: Should we understand and agree upon whatever they mean? It's worth every penny to actually think about that question, because history shows us how ugly these words might be. At once, it turned out common around the globe (including, sadly, in the United States) for folks of African descent to be subjugated and enslaved at no cost labor by whites around the understanding, neglected, that blacks were inherently inferior and possessed of no human rights which whites were sure to respect (in other words a really vile Top court decision inherited in the nineteenth century). That's racism. Moreover, in this veryday, there are people owned by some religion who are so convinced from the rightness of their faith and also the wickedness coming from all others actually wholly intolerant of people who profess a different world view. Those who are nothing like options punished in numerous ways, including with death. That's xenophobia. The left wants to throw these words around like they just don't describe true evil, and make use of them to label people of an right wing political persuasion and those inside the Alt Right movement. And why? What are the crimes of those so branded? Usually being concered about people from parts of the planet seen to harbor terrorists (such as aforementioned religious zealots) and looking to promote border security against illegal invasions from those who eventually overwhelmingly belong to a certain ethnicity. That, on the left, is xenophobia and racism - our buzzwords through the day.
