Re-telling stories is an important means for children to learn comprehension and sequencing and is a good prospect so that you can inquire that assess their understanding. Re-telling a tale gives children the ability to discuss their favourite parts and why that they like them. Additionally, it gives parents an awareness into the kinds of stories they love. Play lots of word games, read a lot of stories and mention letters and the sounds they make- try not to worry if your little child doesn't appear to 'make progress'.
