It's a wise decision to include images together with the words to help you remove the label along with your child can still look at word. If your little one has a favourite story, make them re-tell it for your requirements and praise them well when they do. Re-telling stories is a crucial opportinity for children to find out comprehension and sequencing and is also a good opportunity for you to seek advice that assess their understanding. Re-telling a narrative gives children the opportunity to discuss their favourite parts and why that they like them. Additionally, it gives parents an insight in to the forms of stories they enjoy. Play a great deal of word games, read a lot of stories and talk about letters and also the sounds they make- but don't worry if your little child doesn't manage to 'make progress'. Sing the alphabet song and foster a real love for books and reading- the remaining will certainly follow.
