The GSX sported a hood mounted tach; 3.42:1 rear gear ratio; G60-15 "billboard" Wide-Oval tires; a special front stabilizer bar; plus a rear spoiler, the GSX also came with a 4 speed gear box, and a Hurst shifter, the cars also had a special graphics kit installed through the factory, including two racing stripes ruling the hood and deck lid in the car, along with a thin stripe running down both sides of the car. The Buick GSX was absolutely nothing to laugh at, this car could generate your house, fully competent at providing your having a heart-attack style ride, this car had not been for that weak of heart, it was not necessarily a grandma car.
