Every region possesses some particular characteristics depending on the individuals who are in it. These characteristics can reflect the region's economy, social behavior, social customs, location, commerce, industrialization, religion, along with other things.


The definition of 'demographics' is in essence a shortened way of what we can call 'population characteristics'. Demographics include age, per capita income, mobility (when it comes to travel time to work or amount of vehicles available), educational and academic degree of the people, value of ownership (which includes properties and assets like homes, apartments, garden and such others), status of employment and also the topography in the region. Demographics find its utilization in market research, opinion research, political research, and assessment in the changing trends of consumer behavior and it is patterns. But Company is best used by marketing managers, as the various characteristics of the people reflect their tastes and give a solid idea of it is likely that the sales returns of the launched product in the given area. Demographics may be called an art and a science. Unlike demography, which puts emphasis on biological processes such as population dynamics, demographics try and grasp what people think and just what they are prepared to buy. Demographics could be studied underneath the following heads: 1) Demographic variables - the groupings of the consumers as well as other such communities done by social and marketing analysts.
