The bride`s Greek roots and also the groom`s Scottish heritage combined in the over-the-top celebration. When Sabrina Bells, a nearby restaurant manager, met Bancroft Henderson, an analyst, in a rooftop pool party at her condo in Arlington, she never imagined love could hit so near home. But after three and a half a lot of dating, Bancroft proposed-right in the exact same view-friendly spot where they first laid eyes on every other. “We were designed to go to a birthday dinner having a group of friends,” says the bride to be. “As we had arrived leaving my apartment, Bancroft claimed there was obviously a green light illuminating the Washington Monument and took it up to the rooftop pool to test out.” Confused, Sabrina followed Bancroft upstairs to discover the terrace encircled by candles, using a bottle of Champagne and roses waiting exclusively for her to state yes. A ceremony that elegantly wove Sabrina’s Greek Orthodox roots with Bancroft’s Scottish heritage followed nine months later, on September 15, 2012.
