The bride`s Greek roots along with the groom`s Scottish heritage combined within an over-the-top celebration. When Sabrina Bells, a nearby restaurant manager, met Bancroft Henderson, an analyst, in a rooftop pool party at her condo in Arlington, she never thought love could hit so near home. But after three and a half a lot of dating, Bancroft proposed-right from the exact same view-friendly spot where they first laid eyes on each other. “We were designed to search for a birthday dinner which has a number of friends,” says bride. “As we were leaving my apartment, Bancroft claimed that there was obviously a green light illuminating the Washington Monument anf the husband wanted to go up to the rooftop pool to check out.” Confused, Sabrina followed Bancroft upstairs to obtain the terrace encircled by candles, which has a bottle of Champagne and roses waiting just for her to state yes. A ceremony that elegantly wove Sabrina’s Greek Orthodox roots with Bancroft’s Scottish heritage followed nine months later, on September 15, 2012.
