The bride`s Greek roots as well as the groom`s Scottish heritage combined in the over-the-top celebration. When Sabrina Bells, a cafe or restaurant manager, met Bancroft Henderson, an analyst, with a rooftop pool party at her condo in Arlington, she i never thought love could hit so near home. But after 3 . 5 years of dating, Bancroft proposed-right from the identical view-friendly spot where they first laid eyes on every other. “We were likely to check out a birthday dinner which has a group of friends,” says the bride to be. “As i was leaving my apartment, Bancroft claimed that there was obviously a green light illuminating the Washington Monument and took it up to the rooftop pool to check on it out.” Confused, Sabrina followed Bancroft upstairs to obtain the terrace encircled by candles, which has a bottle of Champagne and roses waiting simply for her to say yes. A ceremony that elegantly wove Sabrina’s Greek Orthodox roots with Bancroft’s Scottish heritage followed nine months later, on September 15, 2012.
