The bride`s Greek roots and the groom`s Scottish heritage combined in a over-the-top celebration. When Sabrina Bells, for restaurants manager, met Bancroft Henderson, an analyst, in a rooftop pool party at her condo in Arlington, she never imagined love could hit so near home. But after three and a half a lot of dating, Bancroft proposed-right from the exact same view-friendly spot where they first laid eyes on every other. “We were likely to check out a birthday dinner with a number of friends,” says the bride to be. “As we had been leaving my apartment, Bancroft claimed there was a green light illuminating the Washington Monument and that he wanted to go up to the rooftop pool to test it.” Confused, Sabrina followed Bancroft upstairs to obtain the terrace encircled by candles, having a bottle of Champagne and roses waiting only for her to say yes. A ceremony that elegantly wove Sabrina’s Greek Orthodox roots with Bancroft’s Scottish heritage followed nine months later, on September 15, 2012.
