One Piece is often a story of the young man named Monkey D. Luffy who was inspired from the pirate, Red-Haired Shanks. In the beginning inside the series, 22 years prior to present timeline, a pirate named Gold Roger, often known as the Pirate King had been executed. However, before his death, Gold Roger told the group about his treasure, Watch one piece. His death sparked what might ended up being the Golden Era of Pirates as countless pirates attempt to try to find his treasure. The key character, Luffy gets to be a pirate, who dreams of becoming the next Pirate King and sets in the market to recruit crewmates and initiate his adventures. This tells the plot of 1 Piece. Nonetheless, this anime didn't become great overnight. One Piece features a great history that might give it time to become what everyone considers is the greatest manga ever created.

One Piece all began together with the creator, Eiichiro Oda. Eiichiro Oda was inspired by Akira Toriyama's Dragonball and Dr. Slump at a young age. Since childhood, he took a liking to Vikings anf the husband aspired to be a manga artist. Afterwards, Oda created Pandaman for Yudetamago's Kinnikuman. During 1992, Oda at 17, posted the manga called Required. This got him noticed, enough to be able to join the employees within the Weekly Shonen Jump paper. There, he became a helper under several established manga freelance writers including Shinobu Kaitani, Masaya Tokuhiro, and last but not least, Nobuhiro Watsuki. Oda had desired to make a pirate manga from his dependence on vikings during his youth, and the man has also been inspired through various pirate events much like the discovery of the pirate vessel of Edward Teach, often known as Bleackbeard. He wrote two separate one-shots in the mid-1990s, because both versions were called "Romance Dawn". The stories introduced Monkey D. Luffy, the straw-hat wearing boy who tries to sail the sea to turn into a legendary pirate. Several concepts around the eventual serialization appeared with these stories, including Luffy's inspiration if you are a pirate and also the mysterious power he gained from eating an exclusive fruit that turned his body into rubber. Some might recognize this concept as it pertains to One Piece's concept regarding Devil Fruits. Around August 1997, Oda took virtually all his "Romance Dawn" ideas and started utilizing them inside a weekly serial within the particular title "One Piece". It was first serialized in Shonen Jump, the weekly shonen magazine operated and owned by Shueisha. The actual series quickly caught on and became popular throughout the initial chapters and onwords, becoming one of several premiere manga series within the magazine. Initially, Oda wanted his series running for five years, meaning One Piece would have resulted in 2002, yet he went beyond expected. Today, people have little idea the number of more years his story probably will take. Oda had already planned the ending right away of One Piece. Despite the time it may need him in order to complete it, he said he'll end One Piece just how he planned from the start. One Piece has since spanned across the borders of Japan becoming something greater than a simple pirating tale. After some time looking at the serialization, One Piece has gotten different directions rolling around in its storyline occasionally wavering from the initial focus from the pursuit for become Pirate King. One Piece has been noted to add many themes like what treasure is, the meaning of justice combined with thought of chasing dreams.
