I am one of those ridiculous mothers you'll read about. You know those that bring their kids everywhere, and drive 24 hours with 3 children under 5 to get to Disneyworld. For different interpretations, please gaze at Learn more at http://www.amazon.com/Kick-Extra-Large-Organizer-Pockets/dp/B012M20CWY/kick mats/. That's me. To say the least, I'm no stranger to children and vehicles. Because of this, it stands to reason that I am in addition absolutely no stranger to feeling their tiny feet kicking the back of my carseat. Not only is it irritating, but it is always a mess. Dirt, mud, and scrape marks, all the same shape as their small boots, really are a regular fixture within our vehicles. The actual leather within our Suburban gets scratched and marred, and the upholstery in our other vehicle was beyond help. I washed and washed with no success, their shoes had taken their toll. Therefore once we purchased our new vehicle, and I found exactly the same thing taking place, I was devastated. We had invested WAY too much for this vehicle to have it wrecked within the very first month. I joked with a buddy that I was hoping I could shrink wrap the entire vehicle and then she told me about kick mats. What a wonderful idea! How had I not been told about these. Basically, they're mats that attach on the rear of the front seats in the car to make a protective barrier. These were exactly what I wanted to keep my car protected from the kicking feet of the kids!.
