Paula Marshall-Smith Counselling in Petersfield, near Guildford, Haslemere & Godalming I've got a BA (Hons) Degree in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy from The University of Greenwich. In the past I have undergone further training/workshops which includes allowed me to satisfy the changing needs of my clients. I am an approved part of the British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapy (BACP) and am bound by BACP’s Ethical Framework permanently Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy.


I endeavour to provide appointments as quickly as possible and bear professional indemnity insurance. I will be very focused on ongoing professional development. The Criminal history records Bureau (CRB) and also the Independent Safeguarding Authority (ISA) have merged to get the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). CRB checks are now called DBS checks and i also provide an updated advanced certificate. I value social, sexual, religious, political and racial difference and understand the need for these variations in relationships. Background Experience I valued my training and use ‘yourSanctuary’(formally Surrey Womens Aid). This incredible organization actively works to prevent domestic abuse and undo the damage it will to individuals, families and communities. Clients result from diverse communities, sexual orientations, religions, ethnicities, socio-economic groups, and age brackets. I run a successful Private Practice in Petersfield, Hampshire and i also help Crossways Counselling service in Haslemere, Surrey. Crossways can be a registered charity and we give a valuable, professional and confidential plan to our local community.
