The bride`s Greek roots and the groom`s Scottish heritage combined in an over-the-top celebration. When Sabrina Bells, for restaurants manager, met Bancroft Henderson, an analyst, with a rooftop pool party at her condo in Arlington, she never thought love could hit so near home. But after 3 . 5 many years of dating, Bancroft proposed-right in the similar view-friendly spot where they first laid eyes on every other. “We were designed to visit a birthday dinner having a gang of friends,” says your beloved partner. “As we had arrived leaving my apartment, Bancroft claimed there was a green light illuminating the Washington Monument anf the husband took it to the rooftop pool to check on it.” Confused, Sabrina followed Bancroft upstairs to find the terrace encircled by candles, with a bottle of Champagne and roses waiting exclusively for her to say yes. A ceremony that elegantly wove Sabrina’s Greek Orthodox roots with Bancroft’s Scottish heritage followed nine months later, on September 15, 2012.
