The bride`s Greek roots and the groom`s Scottish heritage combined in a over-the-top celebration. When Sabrina Bells, a cafe or restaurant manager, met Bancroft Henderson, an analyst, with a rooftop pool party at her condo in Arlington, she never imagined love could hit so close to home. But after 3 . 5 a lot of dating, Bancroft proposed-right within the very same view-friendly spot where they first laid eyes on every other. “We were meant to go to a birthday dinner with a gang of friends,” says bride. “As i was leaving my apartment, Bancroft claimed that there would have been a green light illuminating the Washington Monument anf the husband wanted to go up to the rooftop pool to check against each other.” Confused, Sabrina followed Bancroft upstairs to obtain the terrace encircled by candles, which has a bottle of Champagne and roses waiting simply for her to convey yes. A ceremony that elegantly wove Sabrina’s Greek Orthodox roots with Bancroft’s Scottish heritage followed nine months later, on September 15, 2012.
