N.W.: I seriously believe that marketing consultant has really helped people discover their talents and grow these new forms of artists and not only that, but also share these talents instantly with the rest on the planet. Erin Elisse: Me too. Part of this video is neat a striking. Not new, but rather them taking that very Benjamin Franklin-like perspective, “You invent yourself.” To a degree, there’s some truth. But it still really is dependant on the way you market yourself. And you have to today, in today’s way. This part is fun for me, on the other hand can see the challenges for the painter or musician. Online portfolios, social media and actively generating leads/sales is non-negotiable. Otherwise, it’s all a bit scary in my experience. While technology is growing/changing how we do things, our population continues to grow as well. And teenagers are tech-savvy, with reduced attention spans. You'll find less jobs, more competition, more pipe dreams, more distance from “tangible” work and yes it seems like 1984, Brave New World" new world "Marketplace or We. N.W.: I agree along, today’s youth are incredibly tech-savy, however it has become a detriment on their attention spans which can be clearly evident of their social skills, performance in college, and being addicted popular culture.

It quite definitely is all about the method that you market yourself and from that point is how the competition starts. The mission becomes: How creatively may i get attention? I believe until this does bring out talents, a probing for knowledge, and connections people never would've had before which is exciting and great some of it all, nevertheless it does make is so quite challenging to the painter or musician who hasn’t put themselves available inside the digital world as to what they will often seem being an aggressive kind of publicity. I do believe this is creating a real new personality type that has never existed before. I’m trying to figure out though if this evolution of the human personality towards a perceived goal is but one that benefits us or possibly detrimental because when you said, we are getting off more “tangible” work. Erin Elisse: N.W., you obtain it. You are i'm all over this. There are countless books out concentrating on developing habits, i.e. The potency of Habit along with the Energy Full Engagement. But technology influencing those habits and it is effect? That knows. There is an interesting book from Paul Adams I’ve yet to see called Grouped. He’s Facebook’s Head of Brand Design. It covers high of what I already think regarding new abilities afforded to us with technology. It’s about how precisely we not just have the abilities to determine engagement, but specifically, influence. What if that which you thought affected people’s decisions was wrong? What if we can easily better, plus much more methodically, master people’s thought patterns and behaviors? Is it safer to discover how we are wired? Who’s loss can it be? Is there loss? Who’s gain? Can shaping our behavior based on technology help society? Help ourselves? Do we lead more fulfilling lives today than yesterday? Is virtual connection just as good? There are plenty of questions, and so lots who may take advantage for the time being individuals finding out some sort of these answers. It’s stunning in my experience that big, corporate companies do not put more stock to become more web-based, solely based on the opportunity they have to come up with a Much bigger money. (i.e. Insurance firms who do not have an automated request a quotation system or propriety web-based products.) Also, nokia's that do not purchase the proper of metrics based marketing are missing out to more tech-savvy startups ready to compete with the mass market. So much is evolving.
