One Piece all began with all the creator, Eiichiro Oda. Eiichiro Oda was inspired by Akira Toriyama's Dragonball and Dr. Slump at a young age. Since childhood, he took a liking to Vikings anf the husband aspired to turn into a manga artist. Afterwards, Oda created Pandaman for Yudetamago's Kinnikuman. During 1992, Oda at 17, posted the manga called Required. This got him noticed, enough so that you can join the staff inside the Weekly Shonen Jump paper. There, he became a helper under several established manga freelancers including Shinobu Kaitani, Masaya Tokuhiro, and lastly, Nobuhiro Watsuki. Oda had desired to come up with a pirate manga from his being hooked on vikings in his youth, and the man was also inspired through various pirate events such as the discovery with the pirate vessel of Edward Teach, also known as Bleackbeard. He wrote two separate one-shots in the mid-1990s, each of which were called "Romance Dawn". The stories introduced Monkey D. Luffy, the straw-hat wearing boy who attempts to sail the ocean becoming a legendary pirate. Several concepts around the eventual serialization appeared within these stories, including Luffy's inspiration if you are a pirate as well as the mysterious power he gained from eating a unique fruit that turned his body into rubber. Some might recognize this idea because it pertains to One Piece's concept regarding Devil Fruits. Around August 1997, Oda took nearly all his "Romance Dawn" ideas and began with them inside a weekly serial underneath the particular title "One Piece". It had been first serialized in Shonen Jump, the weekly shonen magazine owned and operated by Shueisha. The actual series quickly caught on and became popular during the initial chapters and onwords, establishing itself as one of many premiere manga series inside magazine. To start with, Oda wanted his series running for 5 years, meaning One Piece would've ended in 2002, yet he went more than expected. At this time, all people have not a clue the amount of more years his story will probably take. Oda had already planned the ending from the start of 1 Piece. Despite the time it will take him to carry out it, he said he'll end One Piece the way in which he planned from the start. One Piece has since spanned over the borders of Japan becoming something greater simple pirating tale. After a while looking at the serialization, One Piece has had different directions in the storyline at times wavering through the initial focus with the pursuit for become Pirate King. One Piece has been noted to feature many themes such as what treasure is, the meaning of justice along with the notion of chasing dreams.
