Has your chosen website suddenly stopped updating? Have you been wondering what other amazing websites, similar to your selected one, might exist on the internet? Don't want to miss out on hours of happy browsing, surfing sites covering topics you adore and worry about? The net is - unsurprisingly - a large place, in fact it is growing daily. Due to its enormous size, it is possible to miss some real gems: websites you'd probably enjoy - only when you knew they existed to start with! Alternatively, the amount of web sites which are currently online on the internet should make stumbling upon your new favorite a less improbable event.

Head over to the excellent old Search engine engine, and go into the url of your website of the website you want. Once you execute a Search engine in such a manner, the 1st result needs to be the domain information (if your web site is at all popular). If so, there should also be a little down arrow around the link - click it! A tiny drop-down menu can have, with the first item about the menu being "similar". An additional click, and you can now search for of sites similar to the domain which you have entered in Google. If you are using Google Chrome browser, there's an extension called Google Similar Pages that produces the whole process even simpler! If the website you are searching for just isn't popular, you will have to use some other method. Thankfully, there is a myriad of tools that will function that. You will find specialized search engines like yahoo focused on the discovery of Similar Site. A few of these don't count on search algorithms only, but use data obtained from those people who are manually sorting and describing websites. You can look at some social bookmark creating service that allows its users to categorize bookmarks by category. Just a little hitting tags might produce some nice finds. You may also check Alexa: click "categories with related sites" when exploring the domain which you are interested in. You'll get a directory of sites which Alexa thinks are related to the domain.
