We have to be able to agree on what words mean. It appears as though this kind of obvious matter even if it's just worthy of mention, because language is pretty simple things. They mean whatever they mean, everyone knows those definitions. So just why should it be essential to explain we've to agree on them when we already do?Mostly because some individuals manage to believe it is smart to subvert the established meanings of words for their own political purposes.

These people recklessly exaggerate and outright lie to have their ends, along with the loser will be the English language. This misuse of words creates precisely what are called “buzzwords”. They're used frequently everywhere in the political spectrum, however the left appears to have a selected penchant for employing them, as well as of the favorites to use against those involved with alternative right are “racist” and “xenophobe”.Prior to getting into what is being done to those words frequently, let's make a list of: Can we understand and concur what they mean? It's worth every penny to completely think about that question, because history shows us precisely how ugly these words may be. Previously, it was common worldwide (including, sadly, in the United States) for those of African descent to be subjugated and enslaved totally free labor by whites for the understanding, overlooked, that blacks were inherently inferior and possessed of no human rights which whites were bound to respect (to paraphrase a particularly vile Supreme court decision handed down in the nineteenth century). That's racism. Moreover, on this veryday, there are people owned by a certain religion that are so convinced from the rightness of their faith and the wickedness coming from all others they are wholly intolerant of folks that profess a different world view. Those who are not like options punished in several ways, including with death. That's xenophobia. However the left wants to throw these words around like they don't describe true evil, and make use of these to label people of the right wing political persuasion and people from the Alt Right movement. And why? Which are the crimes of those so branded? Usually being concered about people from parts of the planet seen to harbor terrorists (such as the aforementioned religious zealots) and looking to promote border security against illegal invasions from those who happen to overwhelmingly are part of a certain ethnicity. That, to the left, is xenophobia and racism - our buzzwords of the day.
