The bride`s Greek roots and the groom`s Scottish heritage combined in a over-the-top celebration. When Sabrina Bells, a nearby restaurant manager, met Bancroft Henderson, an analyst, with a rooftop pool party at her condo in Arlington, she never thought love could hit so close to home. But after three and a half a lot of dating, Bancroft proposed-right from the similar view-friendly spot where they first laid eyes on every other. “We were supposed to search for a birthday dinner having a gang of friends,” says the bride to be. “As we had arrived leaving my apartment, Bancroft claimed that there was obviously a green light illuminating the Washington Monument anf the husband wanted to go up to the rooftop pool to check on against each other.” Confused, Sabrina followed Bancroft upstairs to obtain the terrace encircled by candles, with a bottle of Champagne and roses waiting simply for her to convey yes. A ceremony that elegantly wove Sabrina’s Greek Orthodox roots with Bancroft’s Scottish heritage followed nine months later, on September 15, 2012.
