The bride`s Greek roots along with the groom`s Scottish heritage combined in a over-the-top celebration. When Sabrina Bells, a restaurant manager, met Bancroft Henderson, an analyst, at a rooftop pool party at her condo in Arlington, she i never thought love could hit so all-around home. But after 3 . 5 numerous years of dating, Bancroft proposed-right within the similar view-friendly spot where they first laid eyes on every other. “We were meant to check out a birthday dinner with a number of friends,” says the bride. “As we had been leaving my apartment, Bancroft claimed there was a green light illuminating the Washington Monument anf the husband took it to the rooftop pool to evaluate it out.” Confused, Sabrina followed Bancroft upstairs to obtain the terrace encircled by candles, using a bottle of Champagne and roses waiting only for her to state yes. A ceremony that elegantly wove Sabrina’s Greek Orthodox roots with Bancroft’s Scottish heritage followed nine months later, on September 15, 2012.
