The bride`s Greek roots along with the groom`s Scottish heritage combined in the over-the-top celebration. When Sabrina Bells, for restaurants manager, met Bancroft Henderson, an analyst, at the rooftop pool party at her condo in Arlington, she never imagined love could hit so all-around home. But after three and a half numerous years of dating, Bancroft proposed-right in the exact same view-friendly spot where they first laid eyes on each other. “We were supposed to visit a birthday dinner using a band of friends,” says your beloved partner. “As we had been leaving my apartment, Bancroft claimed there was obviously a green light illuminating the Washington Monument and took it up to the rooftop pool to check it out.” Confused, Sabrina followed Bancroft upstairs to find the terrace encircled by candles, which has a bottle of Champagne and roses waiting only for her to say yes. A ceremony that elegantly wove Sabrina’s Greek Orthodox roots with Bancroft’s Scottish heritage followed nine months later, on September 15, 2012.
