For everyone who grew up within the 1980s, the songs of that decade will remain the soundtrack on the key moments in our lives. Music acts as a time machine, transporting us back through time and rekindling memories, the pros and cons, and 1980s music provided a tune for each event in that tumultuous decade.

The 80s began in turmoil and social unrest and also the music reflected this dependence on change.
