For individuals who spent my childhood years in the 80s, the songs of the decade will continue to be the soundtrack for the key moments of our lives. The 80s began in turmoil and social unrest along with the music reflected this requirement of change. Having begun in that state of flux, 1980s music continued to evolve as technology emerged and artists, musicians and movie makers began to experiment.
