Aerial photography is done professionally in field studies like cartography, archeology, landing use plans, military economical espionage, advertising and cinematography. It's also an interesting hobby practiced by many today. Practiced first in 1858 by Nadar, a french balloonist who made pictures over Paris and was also predominantly used throughout the first world war with the army. They have remained a good and efficient art of taking photographs.

It requires taking photos on ground with cameras installed on air crafts, balloons, helicopters in order to mention several. Nevertheless, on an amateur who cannot afford paying for a plane, he or she can buy an astro-cam or some oracle rocket and continue enjoying aerial filming scotland as a hobby. Companies are not left out with this and they've small remote controlled air crafts employed for this purpose since flight over residential places is proscribed at certain heights. In evaluation of buildings or large properties, aerial photography plays an important role and this is best achieved once the photos are removed from a helicopter. The real reason for this really is quite self-explanatory i.e. a helicopter can remain still and thus build a better environment to take pictures compared to a common plane. Among its problems though, could be the perspective correction and so some pictures produced in certain angles may result in incorrect perspective. As an example, near objects may tend to look too large in comparison with far placed objects. Remember, the good aspects of it are endless and in fact if you wish to sell a big estate make use of an airplane for faster and great evaluation results.
