This might be as a result of increasing quantity of PLR articles and material thats becoming available. Today, there is not necessarily anything wrong with this, I just think that authors who are doing this are missing possible traffic and/or customers. Such resource boxes is only going to benefit their site ranks in incoming links that are valued by any search engine. Is this a bad thing? They would like to learn about snowboarding, perhaps not modify their phone. I really believe one of three things may happen then The audience leaves the complete site in disgust. The viewer clicks on a related Google Ad-sense or similar contextual marketing ad. They do not click the authors reference link. Thats a possible client lost, quite probably permanently. Yes, put a link in to your website in the source box, but most article directories let many links, therefore for goodness sake put a link in that ;s associated with the article subject as-well, and preferably put it in first, before you lose the client. Increase a report index, and have the reference box saying To learn more articles on this subject, just click here. Add a web directory, and have the text say To see links to web sites on this subject, go here. Or just go to Click-bank, look for related tasks, and have a link to them, using the link saying something such as If you want to learn more on this issue, purchase this item. Ideally, not a direct url to the item, but a cloaked or redirected one. By doing this, you still get that connect to your website that you were after originally, but, furthermore, youve the chance to generate income from the reader in a new way. A win-win situation. Plus, you dont seem like somebody basically distributing purchased material on any matter just for the benefit of the backlink it will give you.
