We need to manage to agree on what words mean. It seems like such an obvious matter not merit mention, because test is simple things. They mean what you mean, and everybody knows those definitions. So just why whether it is important to point out we've to agree on them when we already do?Mostly because some people seem to believe that it is a good idea to subvert the established meanings of words for his or her own political purposes.

These people recklessly exaggerate and outright lie to get their ends, and the loser will be the English language. This misuse of words creates precisely what are called “buzzwords”. They're used frequently everywhere in the political spectrum, though the left seems to have a specific penchant for employing them, as well as of these favorites to utilize against those invoved with alt right are “racist” and “xenophobe”.Prior to getting into what is being done to those words often, let's make a list of: Do we understand and agree upon whatever they mean? It's worthwhile to actually take into consideration that question, because history shows us just how ugly these words can be. At one time, it turned out common worldwide (including, sadly, in america) for folks of African descent being subjugated and enslaved totally free labor by whites on the understanding, taken for granted, that blacks were inherently inferior and possessed of no human rights which whites were bound to respect (to paraphrase a really vile Supreme Court decision inherited in the nineteenth century). That's racism. Moreover, with this very day, there are people owned by a specific religion who will be so convinced of the rightness with their faith as well as the wickedness coming from all others that they're wholly intolerant of people who profess a different world view. Those who are unlike them are punished in various ways, including with death. That's xenophobia. However the left would rather throw these words around like they don't describe true evil, and employ them to label people of a right wing political persuasion and those in the Alt Right movement. And why? What are the crimes of your companion so branded? Usually being worried about individuals from areas of the world proven to harbor terrorists (such as the aforementioned religious zealots) and looking to promote border security against illegal invasions from people that happen to overwhelmingly fit in with a particular ethnicity. That, left, is xenophobia and racism - our buzzwords of the day.
