We need to be able to acknowledge what words mean. It appears as though this type of obvious matter not even merit mention, because language is simple things. They mean what you mean, and everybody knows those definitions. So just why should it be important to explain that we have to acknowledge them when we already do?Mostly because a lot of people appear to believe that it is a good idea to subvert the established meanings of words because of their own political purposes.

These folks recklessly exaggerate and outright lie in order to achieve their ends, and also the loser will be the English language. This misuse of words creates exactly what are called “buzzwords”. They're used frequently all around the political spectrum, however the left appears to have a selected penchant for employing them, and two of these favorites to use against those who work in right wing news are “racist” and “xenophobe”.Prior to getting into what has been done to those words often, let's ask ourselves: Will we understand and concur what you mean? It's worthwhile to really think of that question, because history shows us precisely how ugly these words may be. In the past, it had been common worldwide (including, sadly, in the United States) for folks of African descent to be subjugated and enslaved free of charge labor by whites around the understanding, taken for granted, that blacks were inherently inferior and possessed of no human rights which whites were certain to respect (to paraphrase a really vile Top court decision handed down inside the nineteenth century). That's racism. Moreover, within this veryday, you'll find people belonging to some religion who are so convinced of the rightness of their faith along with the wickedness of most others they are wholly intolerant of people that profess another world view. Those people who are in contrast to options are punished in several ways, including with death. That's xenophobia. But the left wants to throw these words around like they don't really describe true evil, and make use of these phones label people of the right wing political persuasion and people in the Alt Right movement. And why? What are the crimes of those so branded? Usually being worried about people from parts of the planet proven to harbor terrorists (such as the aforementioned religious zealots) and attempting to promote border security against illegal invasions from individuals who happen to overwhelmingly fit in with a selected ethnicity. That, left, is xenophobia and racism - our buzzwords during the day.
