The B'nei Mitzvah service is so spiritually fulfilling. It symbolizes your teenager's transformation from child to adult from the eyes of our faith. When B'nei Mitzvah recite the blessings in the Torah, they're affirming actually tall enough to get in charge of everything has passed in their mind - our traditions, rituals, teachings, and culture - and they will uphold and, therefore, pass these to another generation. This moment is well known at Mitzvah-Washington-dc every time a teenager reads from the Torah for the first time publicly during Shabbat services on the Saturday morning or evening. The B'nei Mitzvah also lead a number of the prayers, read through the Haftarah (the books with the Prophets), and share their thoughts about the Torah portion as well as link to our lives by way of a d'var Torah (words of Torah).
