The bride`s Greek roots and the groom`s Scottish heritage combined within an over-the-top celebration. When Sabrina Bells, a cafe or restaurant manager, met Bancroft Henderson, an analyst, at the rooftop pool party at her condo in Arlington, she never thought love could hit so all-around home. But after three and a half many years of dating, Bancroft proposed-right inside the similar view-friendly spot where they first laid eyes on each other. “We were meant to visit a birthday dinner using a number of friends,” says the bride to be. “As we had been leaving my apartment, Bancroft claimed that there was obviously a green light illuminating the Washington Monument and wanted to go to the rooftop pool to check out.” Confused, Sabrina followed Bancroft upstairs to get the terrace encircled by candles, having a bottle of Champagne and roses waiting just for her to express yes. A ceremony that elegantly wove Sabrina’s Greek Orthodox roots with Bancroft’s Scottish heritage followed nine months later, on September 15, 2012.
