The bride`s Greek roots as well as the groom`s Scottish heritage combined in a over-the-top celebration. When Sabrina Bells, for restaurants manager, met Bancroft Henderson, an analyst, with a rooftop pool party at her condo in Arlington, she i never thought love could hit so near to home. But after three and a half a lot of dating, Bancroft proposed-right within the similar view-friendly spot where they first laid eyes on every other. “We were meant to visit a birthday dinner using a gang of friends,” says the bride to be. “As we had been leaving my apartment, Bancroft claimed that there would be a green light illuminating the Washington Monument and the man wanted to go up to the rooftop pool to test out.” Confused, Sabrina followed Bancroft upstairs to get the terrace encircled by candles, with a bottle of Champagne and roses waiting simply for her to convey yes. A ceremony that elegantly wove Sabrina’s Greek Orthodox roots with Bancroft’s Scottish heritage followed nine months later, on September 15, 2012.
