The bride`s Greek roots as well as the groom`s Scottish heritage combined within an over-the-top celebration. When Sabrina Bells, a restaurant manager, met Bancroft Henderson, an analyst, at the rooftop pool party at her condo in Arlington, she i never thought love could hit so all-around home. But after 3 . 5 a lot of dating, Bancroft proposed-right from the exact same view-friendly spot where they first laid eyes on every other. “We were designed to check out a birthday dinner which has a number of friends,” says your beloved partner. “As we had been leaving my apartment, Bancroft claimed there would have been a green light illuminating the Washington Monument and wanted to go to the rooftop pool to check on it out.” Confused, Sabrina followed Bancroft upstairs to obtain the terrace encircled by candles, using a bottle of Champagne and roses waiting exclusively for her to say yes. A ceremony that elegantly wove Sabrina’s Greek Orthodox roots with Bancroft’s Scottish heritage followed nine months later, on September 15, 2012.
