The bride`s Greek roots as well as the groom`s Scottish heritage combined in a over-the-top celebration. When Sabrina Bells, for restaurants manager, met Bancroft Henderson, an analyst, at the rooftop pool party at her condo in Arlington, she never imagined love could hit so all-around home. But after three and a half numerous years of dating, Bancroft proposed-right within the exact same view-friendly spot where they first laid eyes on every other. “We were supposed to go to a birthday dinner which has a gang of friends,” says the bride. “As we had been leaving my apartment, Bancroft claimed there would have been a green light illuminating the Washington Monument anf the husband wanted to go to the rooftop pool to test it out.” Confused, Sabrina followed Bancroft upstairs to obtain the terrace encircled by candles, having a bottle of Champagne and roses waiting only for her to say yes. A ceremony that elegantly wove Sabrina’s Greek Orthodox roots with Bancroft’s Scottish heritage followed nine months later, on September 15, 2012.
