The bride`s Greek roots and the groom`s Scottish heritage combined within an over-the-top celebration. When Sabrina Bells, a nearby restaurant manager, met Bancroft Henderson, an analyst, at a rooftop pool party at her condo in Arlington, she never thought love could hit so near home. But after three and a half many years of dating, Bancroft proposed-right from the very same view-friendly spot where they first laid eyes on every other. “We were likely to visit a birthday dinner having a number of friends,” says bride. “As we had been leaving my apartment, Bancroft claimed that there would be a green light illuminating the Washington Monument anf the husband wanted to go to the rooftop pool to test it.” Confused, Sabrina followed Bancroft upstairs to obtain the terrace encircled by candles, having a bottle of Champagne and roses waiting only for her to convey yes. A ceremony that elegantly wove Sabrina’s Greek Orthodox roots with Bancroft’s Scottish heritage followed nine months later, on September 15, 2012.
