The bride`s Greek roots along with the groom`s Scottish heritage combined in a over-the-top celebration. When Sabrina Bells, for restaurants manager, met Bancroft Henderson, an analyst, at the rooftop pool party at her condo in Arlington, she never thought love could hit so close to home. But after 3 . 5 a lot of dating, Bancroft proposed-right in the similar view-friendly spot where they first laid eyes on each other. “We were likely to search for a birthday dinner having a gang of friends,” says the bride to be. “As we had been leaving my apartment, Bancroft claimed that there was a green light illuminating the Washington Monument and wanted to go up to the rooftop pool to evaluate it.” Confused, Sabrina followed Bancroft upstairs to discover the terrace encircled by candles, with a bottle of Champagne and roses waiting simply for her to express yes. A ceremony that elegantly wove Sabrina’s Greek Orthodox roots with Bancroft’s Scottish heritage followed nine months later, on September 15, 2012.
