The bride`s Greek roots and the groom`s Scottish heritage combined within an over-the-top celebration. When Sabrina Bells, a restaurant manager, met Bancroft Henderson, an analyst, at a rooftop pool party at her condo in Arlington, she i never thought love could hit so near home. But after three and a half a lot of dating, Bancroft proposed-right within the exact same view-friendly spot where they first laid eyes on every other. “We were designed to check out a birthday dinner having a number of friends,” says the bride to be. “As we had arrived leaving my apartment, Bancroft claimed there would have been a green light illuminating the Washington Monument anf the husband wanted to go up to the rooftop pool to check against each other.” Confused, Sabrina followed Bancroft upstairs to get the terrace encircled by candles, using a bottle of Champagne and roses waiting exclusively for her to say yes. A ceremony that elegantly wove Sabrina’s Greek Orthodox roots with Bancroft’s Scottish heritage followed nine months later, on September 15, 2012.
