The bride`s Greek roots and also the groom`s Scottish heritage combined within an over-the-top celebration. When Sabrina Bells, for restaurants manager, met Bancroft Henderson, an analyst, with a rooftop pool party at her condo in Arlington, she never thought love could hit so close to home. But after three and a half a lot of dating, Bancroft proposed-right in the exact same view-friendly spot where they first laid eyes on every other. “We were likely to search for a birthday dinner with a band of friends,” says bride. “As we had arrived leaving my apartment, Bancroft claimed that there would have been a green light illuminating the Washington Monument and the man took it up to the rooftop pool to check on it out.” Confused, Sabrina followed Bancroft upstairs to get the terrace encircled by candles, having a bottle of Champagne and roses waiting exclusively for her to say yes. A ceremony that elegantly wove Sabrina’s Greek Orthodox roots with Bancroft’s Scottish heritage followed nine months later, on September 15, 2012.
