The bride`s Greek roots and the groom`s Scottish heritage combined in an over-the-top celebration. When Sabrina Bells, a cafe or restaurant manager, met Bancroft Henderson, an analyst, at a rooftop pool party at her condo in Arlington, she i never thought love could hit so all-around home. But after three and a half a lot of dating, Bancroft proposed-right in the exact same view-friendly spot where they first laid eyes on every other. “We were meant to check out a birthday dinner having a number of friends,” says bride. “As we had been leaving my apartment, Bancroft claimed that there was obviously a green light illuminating the Washington Monument anf the husband took it up to the rooftop pool to check on out.” Confused, Sabrina followed Bancroft upstairs to discover the terrace encircled by candles, using a bottle of Champagne and roses waiting just for her to say yes. A ceremony that elegantly wove Sabrina’s Greek Orthodox roots with Bancroft’s Scottish heritage followed nine months later, on September 15, 2012.
