The bride`s Greek roots as well as the groom`s Scottish heritage combined in an over-the-top celebration. When Sabrina Bells, for restaurants manager, met Bancroft Henderson, an analyst, with a rooftop pool party at her condo in Arlington, she never imagined love could hit so all-around home. But after three and a half a lot of dating, Bancroft proposed-right within the exact same view-friendly spot where they first laid eyes on each other. “We were meant to go to a birthday dinner having a gang of friends,” says your beloved partner. “As we had been leaving my apartment, Bancroft claimed there was obviously a green light illuminating the Washington Monument and that he took it up to the rooftop pool to check against each other.” Confused, Sabrina followed Bancroft upstairs to find the terrace encircled by candles, which has a bottle of Champagne and roses waiting just for her to say yes. A ceremony that elegantly wove Sabrina’s Greek Orthodox roots with Bancroft’s Scottish heritage followed nine months later, on September 15, 2012.
