At the very least two months before your big day:
Choose wedding cake and order - Choose and order or make party favors -Choose and order or make room decorations - Choose and order room accessories (guest book, ring pillow, toasting glasses, cake knife, etc.) - Choose and book your transportation for your wedding day - Choose and reserve tuxes and also other rental items needed - Choose your hairstyle, makeup, and nails (book stylist or schedule appointment for day's wedding)
At least five to six weeks before your wedding event:
Mail your wedding reception invitations Make reservations to your rehearsal dinner Mail your rehearsal dinner invitations or inform differently Send announcement and photograph in your local paper Get your marriage license Have your final fitting of the bridal dress
No less than a couple weeks before your big day:
Contact all guests who haven't taken care of immediately the wedding invitations to acquire a solid head count Make the ultimate seating arrangements for ceremony and or reception Pick up rings and be sure they fit Start packing to your honeymoon
